ASE Certified - Joe went to Wyoming Technical Institute where he studied Automotive Technology and Business Management. Joe in his personal time loves swap meets, flea markets, restoring, driving, buying, old vehicles and motorcycles. He has a weakness for old neon signs and parrots

Dwayne Begnaud
Co-Owner & Founder
Dwayne, born and raised in a small Louisiana town, began gaining mechanical experience while working on vehicles with his 6 older brothers. He learned at a young age to how to troubleshoot the ATVs he and his brothers abused. At the age of 15, Dwayne moved to Orlando with his sister. He graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1991 and worked in construction until he decided to pursue a career as an Auto Technician. In 1995, Dwayne began working as an Auto Technician at Coggin Honda of Orlando, soon becoming an ASE Master Tech and attending the Southeast Honda Top Tech Competition in 1998. After leaving Coggin Honda, Dwayne and his buddy, Joe began a new adventure that would eventually lead to the birth of Orlando Import Auto Specialists. In his spare time, Dwayne still enjoys abusing his ATVs and 4x4s!

Dave has over 30 experience working on cars and trucks, David worked for Nissan for ___ years. David has been friends with Joe and Dwayne from there years of working at Coggin Honda together. David joined Orlando Import Auto Specialist in 2017 after working at Blank Honda, blank Nissan and working for Mac Tools. David Enjoys working on Nissan, Infinity and Most Fleet Vehicles. David has a lot of diagnosis and repair skills and is very thorough when working on a client’s car or truck.

My name is Doug, I first met Joe and Dwayne In the late 90’s when we worked together at a local Honda dealership in Orlando. When they left the dealership and opened up their own shop I always stayed in touch with them. They later asked me to join their team and I thought that was a perfect opportunity for me. I have been with them for about 17 years now. I have worked on almost every make and model car, I would love to work on yours.

Matthew ``Matty`` grew up in Central Florida working on cars with his father, Dwayne. He is currently working towards becoming a certified mechanic, while working part time here at Orlando Import. He prefers to work on Japanese vehicles. In his free time Matty enjoys woodworking and off-roading.
